Renovating in Italy is a boutique property and renovation firm that helps international clients buy, design, and renovate property across Italy.

We guide clients through every stage of the process, from identifying the right property and evaluating renovation potential to architectural design, permits, and project management. Our goal is to make buying and renovating in Italy clear, organized, and achievable for buyers navigating the process from abroad.

Founded by Flavio Fabiani, an Italian architect with experience in both Italy and Canada, Renovating in Italy combines local expertise with an understanding of the expectations and challenges foreign buyers often face.

    The Pigneto Project

    Located in one of Rome’s most vibrant emerging neighbourhoods, the Pigneto Apartment started as an abandoned property ready for a new life. Through consultation, design, bureaucratic coordination, and site management, the project reimagined the space as a modern home while holding onto the charm and atmosphere of Rome. From concept to completion, the aim was to create a bright, elegant apartment that feels fresh, livable, and deeply connected to its context.

    Carpino Apartment

    The Carpino House project, focused on transforming a 1970s apartment into a more functional and comfortable home for a young couple. Through consultation, design, bureaucratic coordination, and site management, the renovation rethought the space to better suit contemporary living while giving the apartment a renewed sense of warmth, practicality, and livability.
